ERSHAAD is a mentorship and engagement programme designed by Emirates Global Aluminium to support the development of interpersonal and professional skills of UAE National female students in STEM and business fields, to further equip them for their professional life.

EGA is committed to empowering young people to pursuing careers in STEM and business fields and beyond which are essential to the growth of a knowledge-based economy and the development of ERSHAAD.

ERSHAAD supports Emirati female university students in building the confidence, professional skills and industry exposure needed to transition more effectively from university to the workplace. Participants are matched with experienced EGA professionals for one-to-one mentoring, giving them access to practical career guidance, professional role models and insights into EGA, heavy industry and the different career pathways available to them.

Alongside mentoring, participants will take part in interactive learning sessions, group sessions, networking opportunities and industry exposure activities, including opportunities to engage with EGA professionals and learn more about workplace realities and career pathways. Through this combination of mentoring, practical learning and industry exposure, ERSHAAD aims to strengthen mentees' career clarity, confidence, professional communication and overall workplace readiness, while helping them build more purposeful professional relationships and networks.
