ERSHAAD is a mentorship and engagement programme designed by Emirates Global Aluminium to support the development of interpersonal and professional skills of UAE National female students in STEM and business fields, to further equip them for their professional life.

EGA is committed to empowering young people to pursuing careers in STEM and business fields and beyond which are essential to the growth of a knowledge-based economy and the development of ERSHAAD.

ERSHAAD seeks to empower 25 students in year one by matching them with 25 mentors from EGA. EGA mentors bring industry exposure, career guidance, and access to professional networks that will empower the student mentees to shape their future careers. The programme combines one-on-one mentoring with group interactive workshops, and exclusive networking events. Students will have the opportunity to develop key technical and communication skills, and leadership capabilities.

ERSHAAD also focuses on enhancing critical soft skills through practical training around CV building, interview guidance, and financial acumen. Participants will also engage in sessions about organisational culture, and the importance of linking academic knowledge to real-world business challenges. At the end of the programme, students will be motivated and confident in their employability skills and supported by a strong professional network.
